Both were in the capacity of lifting sales revenues through application of professional skills within the organizations. The results for both were measured through KPIs developed during the engage and served as a clear endorsement of Sarah’s ability to impact of business outcomes.
At The Lakes Cairns Resort and Spa we had indentified our sales conversions at reservation level were below par for various reasons. Whilst the direct enquires were strong, our team lacked the verbal presentation and associated selling techniques to make the conversions. Sarah was tasked with one goal – to lift conversions and to take direct sales from 30% to 40% of total sales.
Through a process developed for some of the best call centres Sarah began implementing change, which included mystery shopping our services, developing tele-sales systems and consistent staff training, rehearsing and monitoring.
Within three months direct sales grew to the 40% of total revenues delivering over $1M in extra revenues to the business.
In the other project we had conceptualized a new branding offer for presentation of Australia, New Zealand and Fiji to the world’s affluent travelers. Sarah was charged with presenting this concept to the tourism industries best suppliers to fund the global marketing initiative. Through tenacity Sarah guided this project viability to deliver a project that is widely recognized as one of the best marketing campaigns delivered by the industry into the international market and has to date cumulatively delivered over $3 million in sales to the participating supplier partners.
